“Pretty Little Things” by Jilliane Hoffman
A very good book. Jilliane Hoffman is an outstanding author.
I love exploring new author's works and am glad I picked up Hoffman. It's edge
of your seat action. It took me a while to read only because I had so much on
my plate, but if I could have, I would probably have finished this book in a
few days. It's that great. Thriller is just too tame of a word.
Bobby Dees is a special agent with FDLE and is on the hunt
for a serial kidnapper/murderer. With the help of his friend and coworker Zo,
Dees throws himself into the case. It's more than personal for him. His own
daughter Katy is missing and he's not sure if she just ran off with her
boyfriend or if she is the victim in this newest case.
As a reader, I was thrown headlong into the case with him,
feeling as if I was there with him trying to solve this case and find little
Katy.
I highly recommend this book. You will not be disappointed!
