Retired attorney Matt Royal wanted nothing more than to spend carefree days on Longboat Key. Unfortunately, they are not as relaxed as he imagined; instead he is shot at and practically blown up. Royal and his longtime friend Logan Hamilton are smack dab in the middle of a fatal riddle. Someone wants them dead and they have no idea why. Her apparent good looks and easy laugh could distract Royal and be his undoing at a time when he needs his wits about him.
Through the weaving of some very well-defined characters, Griffin subliminally makes the reader turn the pages. Once you start, you’ll find this is one book you won’t be able to set aside.
