What does this picture evoke in you?

I thought I would try something new here instead of the same 'ole post. It's a simple exercise. I'm posting a picture below. What I want you to do is:

1. Tell me what feeling(s) it evokes in you, and
2. Write a short story, paragraph or whatever, using the scene.

I'm dying to see what everyone comes up with!
